Sharon & Mark’s Family Filled Christchurch Wedding Photos

This enchanting Christchurch wedding really started for me as a photographer, when I met Sharon and Mark on a beautiful evening out in Governors Bay for their engagement photo session. Both warm and just straight out lovely, I had such a blast with them that we kind of forgot the time…oops! Bit of a photographer thing I think!

The week before their Christchurch wedding in late April was warm and sunny, we were all set for that to continue on their wedding day…but it rained and cats and dogs all day! Fortunately that didn’t dampen the wedding party’s spirits – they were just so delighted to be getting married!

Sharon’s sister designed and made both Sharon’s beautiful wedding gown and the bridesmaids dresses, isn’t this Mama (of three delicious little boys) just so talented? Both families were absolutely delightful and I was (as I often seem to be!) enamored with Sharon’s gorgeous grandparents.
Sharon did all the flowers (wow!).

Sharon and Mark were married at Fendalton’s St Barnabas Anglican Church and after a sumptous afternoon tea we headed to Monavale Gardens and Riccarton House for wedding photos. Later we whisked away to the beautiful West Melton Hall for dessert and a Swing Dance, thanks to the Christchurch Swing Dance Club. Much fun was had by all!

Thank you for a fantastic and fun filled day! πŸ™‚

And over at the girls….

Sharon rented this cute cottage from AirBnB, isn’t that yellow door gorgeous?
 Sibling love:

Sharon and her dad did a first look, I just love those moments:

Sharon’s mum is a sweet sweet lady:

Sharon made such a stunning bright, am I right?!! Yes!

And that’s the last one married! πŸ˜‰

I so wasn’t kidding right. Grandparents are generally absolutely delightful people and these two were definitely of that catagory. Swoon.

Sharon asked both her sisters to be her bridesmaids. Aren’t they all simply gorgeous?

Pre-Wedding Jitters! Not long now:
